AFE UBONG ABASI Privacy Policy

AFE UBONG ABASI is a community platform for heritage, culture, knowledge, media, communication, responsible commerce and related community services.

Data we may process

Depending on features you use, AFE may process account identifiers, profile information, posts, comments, reactions, messages, uploaded pictures, videos and voice messages, community reports, preferences, notification information, app activity, and information needed for commerce, wallet or creator features. Camera and microphone access is used only for features you choose, such as capturing media, live features or voice messages.

How data is used

Data is used to operate accounts and profiles, provide community and messaging features, deliver requested media and notifications, improve reliability and safety, prevent abuse, moderate user-generated content, support creator/community features, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Service providers

AFE uses service providers to operate the app, including cloud database, storage, authentication and advertising services. Data handled by those providers is limited to what is needed for the applicable feature and subject to their respective terms and security controls.

User-generated content and safety

AFE supports user-generated content. Users can report content or accounts and can block other users. Moderators and administrators may review reports and take action under the Community Terms & Content Rules.

Advertising

AFE may display advertising. Advertising providers may process device or advertising-related information as described in their policies and as disclosed in Google Play's Data safety section.

Data retention and deletion

Data is retained while needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your AFE account from inside the app or from the public account-deletion page. Account deletion removes the account and associated app data except information that must be retained for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention or regulatory reasons.

Security

AFE uses authenticated access controls, encrypted network transport and database/storage access policies designed to limit access to user data.

Children and age-restricted features

Some AFE features are restricted by age, including Find Love, which is intended for adults 18 and over.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the app changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, in the app.
